Biography
Thatcher became interested in magic at the age of 13. In joined the International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM) in 1930 and remained a loyal member to Ring 7 in Columbus. He held the position of President of Ring 7 a few times and many more times as Secretary-Treasurer.
Thatcher developed a humorous style club act, preferring card magic. Nick Trost was a frequent visitor to his home for card sessions. He was also a fixture at many Magi-Fest conventions often provided Bill Miesel with effects for his periodical Precursor.[1][2]
