Dr. Alexander Cannon (1896–1963) was a British psychiatrist, occultist, hypnotist and author. He became well known in the 1930s for his occult writings. Also an amateur magician with a private magic theater called "The Enchanted Hall" in his home on the Isle of Man.

Biography

Dr. Cannon was widely known in magic circles for his interest in the occult and for his books such as "The Invisible Influence" and "The Power Within". A member of the S.A.M. and the Magic Circle, articles of his appeared in M-U-M. He was also Honorary Life President of The Scottish Association of Magical Societies.[1]
