Bill Beatty (1902-1991) was a part-time professional club act magician who billed himself at times as "the Mental Wizard" and "The Mystic Marvel".[1]

Biography

He started professionally in 1921, specializing in sleight-of-hand; ed. Bellevue High School. He was later a member of both S. A. M. and I. B. M.[2]

He was taught sleight-of-hand by Silent Mora and his "REEL MOVES FOR THE RISING CARDS" effect, along with his picture was published in the March 1944 issue of the Linking Ring. [3]
