Bob Lewis (1909 - 1986) was born in Winston-Salem, NC and very early in his life the family moved to Knoxville, TN where he grew up. Bob was a stand up comedian that did magic and comedy tricks on the Ed Sullivan Show on October 8, 1961. In November 30, 1940 he married Virginia Johnson and formed a dance team that played night clubs and theatres until Bob was called into the army during World War II.
He was on the bill at the Blue Angel with Phyllis Diller in 1958. [1] [2] [3] [4]
