Bob Schoof (1933-2004), pronounced "shofe", was a charter member of New England Magic Collectors Association (NEMCA).
Biograrphy
He taught missile technology in the United States Air Force, worked in the aerospace industry, and ran his own technical advertising firm. Schoof enjoyed magic and was a serious collector of magic apparatus. He served as president of NEMCA during the pivotal first of the Yankee Gathering in 1986. He co-edited The Yankee Magic Collector with Ed Hill through 2002, was a substantial contributor to the Yankee Gathering program books.
He lived in Nashua, New Hampshire and Londonderry for over 38 years and died from Parkinson's Disease at the age of 71. [1]
