C. L. Boardé (pronounced bor-DAY) was a statistician and amateur mentalist magician.
The name Boardé was taken from the words CLip BOARD(e).[1]
In 1950, Boardé walked away from the magic scene and immersed himself in his mentalism work, only maintaining friendship with a few friends like Peter Warlock, Stanley Jaks, Fogel, and Bill Gresham.
After an almost fifty year absence from the magic community in 1997, he returned and joined the Psychic Entertainers Association. He became a contributor to its monthly newsletter, Vibrations [2][3]
