Charon (1884-1951), an mechanical engineer by profession, began his career as a magician in Washington, D. C., where he was a popular club and society entertainer for a number of years.[1]
Biography
He also toured for many years as "The Great Le Roi". He and his wife assisted Frederick Eugene Powell at times.[2]
He was a member of SAM No. 29 and served as President of the IBM Ring No. 47 in Connecticut.[3] After retiring from vaudeville work, "Mac" continued doing magic as a club performer in the New England area.[4]
