David Seebach is a professional magician living in the Milwaukee area.

Biography

His interest began at about age six when an older brother gave him a toy magic set and his fist 'public' appearance was at Milwaukee's Center Street Public Library in 1960.[1] Seebach studied theater at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where he graduated with honors and a BFA degree. On campus he created a benefit show that ran for ten years and also briefly taught a course in magic.

His "Wonders of Magic" show has been presented in over thirty states.

In 1979 an original musical was written around Seebach called "It Must Be Magic". Staged at Milwaukee's Pabst Theatre, it ran for sixty sold-out performances. He combined his love of classical music with magic to create "The Maestro & The Magician", a concert attraction that has appeared with orchestras in California, Hawaii, Arizona, and Texas as well as with the Buffalo Philharmonic, Syracuse Symphony, and Rochester Orchestra.

His holiday attraction, "Merry Magic Christmas", has appeared in New Jersey, California, Illinois, and Hawaii.

In 1991 Seebach and his staff created "Illusions in the Night", an illusion show designed to scare an audience, and has appeared annually in Milwaukee.

He has been a featured performer at the national convention of the Society of American Magicians, Midwest Magic Jubilee, and the annual Abbott's Get-Together where he won the 'Best of the Best' trophy. He has also appeared at the Magic Castle.

His writing have been featured in various magic periodicals.[2]
