Del Ray (1927 - 2003) was born Delbert Raymond Petrosky.

Del joined the army at age 17. He met Harry Blackstone, Sr. and went on tour as his assistant. Afterwards he began working in night clubs and by the beginning of the 1950's, he had begun work on his magical act involving electronics.

He is also know for his Dice Stacking routine.

The Wilmington, North Carolina IBM Ring No. 248 is also known as the Del Ray Ring.

A Del Ray performance were described by Walter Zaney Blaney in Genii 1965 August.
