Douglas Beaufort (1864-1939) was a British entertainer and magician who performed for royalty and at the Egyptian Hall.

It's been told that he was sent by his government to Morocco to prove that British magic was superior to the natives, similar to the one performed by Robert-Houdin previously.

His life was documented in a book by Frank S. Stuart, "Nothing Up My Sleeve", published by Stanley Paul in 1938.
