Dr. Moore received his degree in 1921 at Northwestern University School of Dentistry in Evanston, Illinois. Following graduation he taught dentistry at Baylor University at Dallas and also practiced dentistry in Dallas for many years. He then practiced dentistry in Austin starting in 1938. Many leading magicians, such as Blackstone would visited him while passing through Austin.
