Dr. Joseph A. Burgun (1889-1976) was a New York City dentist and amateur magician.
Biography
He was overseas during the first World War with the 6th Div., 54th Infantry, A.E.F.
An amateur magician, he never tried to take professional work, but he gave shows free for various organizations that could not afford entertainment, such as hospitals, Sisters in Convents, U.S.O. Camp Shows, and for some of the dental societies.
His wife, Mary Lou, would often assist their friend Dell O'Dell with tricks.
He lived in Bronxville, New York, with a summer home on the lake at Starlight, Pennsylvania.[1]
