Eric "Nitwit" Williams (1911-1981), The Whimsical Wizard, was a semi-professional magician.

Biography

He started with comedy magic in 1929 and was a member of the IBM.[1] [2]

May have been the first magician to accidentally(?) burned up a spectator's money as part of a routine (see Abra No. 439 dated June 26, 1954).
