Biography
He learned magic at age 8 and became a professional magician and escape artist by 1940.
He served as a Sargent in the Air Signal Corps and in 1947 he bought a Spook Show from John Calvert which he toured for a time. He later toured under own name with fourteen assistants called "Magic and Model Show".
He then operated a magic store, "Pronk's Pranks, Jokes & Magic", in Oklahoma and was a long time member of SAM (No. 3014).[1]
He was on the cover of April 1944 Genii and a photograph of him as "Marlowe" can be seen at the Conjuring Arts' exhibit, "The Many Faces of Magic."[2]. Also, another photo in Genii 1969 June, page 415.
