Fakini (Frank Radtke) (1940 - November 8, 2009) was best known for his work with manufacturing silicone billiard balls but also made multiplying eggs, thimbles, color changing plumes and a few other props.

A plastic tool maker by trade, Radtke invented the silicone ball around 1970 in pursuit of a better multiplying billiard ball, but it also became very popular among jugglers.

For years, Radtke had a magic shop in his garage and would perform magic occasionally around Toledo, Ohio as "Fakini, the Fat Fabulous Fascinator" (to ensure that the person that hired him was not surprised when he showed up for a performance at 340 pounds - after losing 70!)

Radtke was also an avid knife collector and knife thrower, a member of both the International Brotherhood of Magicians Ring 68 and Society of American Magicians.

In 2009, Radtke was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Abbott's Get-Together, an event he often attended.

His line of products continue to be made under the "House of Fakini" by his sons in Delta, Ohio.
