Five Times Five was an ill-fated series of books published by Kaufman and Company.

The series was designed to showcase magic from around the world. Five magicians from each country would each contribute five tricks to a book.

The series ended after only two volumes were published, due to poor sales and conflict between contributors (Richard Kaufman has stated that he couldn't find five French magicians who would allow their creations to be published with each other in the same book).

A recent explosion of interest in Japanese magic has resulted in the reprint of Five Times Five: Japan, and an increased interest in the publication of more books in the series.
