Fred J. Peters (1871-?) was a well known in magical circles around Milwaukee,Wisconsin, as a performer and inventor of novelties.

Biography

A decorator by trade, he was also a portrait painter.

As a magician, Peters gave performances during the winter months and toured the smaller towns of Wisconsin, assisted by his wife. He painted all of the scenery for his show.[1]

He contributed numerous effects to Mahatma and Sphinx and his inventions in magic included "The Wonder Screen", "The Skeleton Trap Table," "The Magic Bomb," "Appearing Bird Cage," "Card Ladder," "Break Away illusion," and "The Twentieth Century Coin Easel."[2]
