George DeLawrence (1886-1928) was a Lyceum magician and cardman.

Biography

During the day DeLawrence was a chief clerk in one of the Government department in Chicago and later a salesmen, during the evenings he performed in clubs, writing articles for magic magazines, and doing a mail-order business.

He was Secretary and Treasurer of the Chicago Conjurers' Club. [1]

His favorite trick was the Twentieth Century Silks.[2]

DeLawrence died at a relatively young age from a hemorrhage, after suffering with tuberculosis.[3]
