Golden Gate Assembly is assembly No. 2 of the Society of American Magicians based in San Francisco, California.

Originally starting out as the Pacific Coast Society of Magicians, they merged with the SAM in 1917 to become the Golden Gate Assembly to become "The Golden Gate Assembly, No. 11". Then in the February, 1918 issue of the MUM it was reported the council presented the request of Golden Gate for recognition as Assembly No. 2, stating that Buffalo consented to forfeit that number in favor of Golden Gate. The transfer of number was authorized by unanimous vote.
