- "No matter what I say cannot influence your opinion. I therefore leave you to judge the merits of 'GREATER CARD TRICKS.' It will not be out of place to mention that some of my best endeavors have been recorded here and I hope my readers will find something of sufficient interest to be adopted by them. None of my previous writings have been included in this work and, therefore, it is safe to assume that the material in this book has not seen print before. To the best of my knowledge, what I am offering here carry the hall-mark of originality, in some form or another; for after all, many new tricks have as their foundation the same old principle of Magic."
