When the Mysteries Production Company disbanded in 1924, George went to South America, where he had great success.

He returned to the United States in hopes of touring but Howard Thurston, fearing competition, told the theaters that if they booked George, they would not ever have Thurston on their stage again. George was shut down and returned to South America where he continued having success.

George retired in Sao Paulo, Brazil to run a successful business manufacturing projection machines for theaters.

He is also remembered for some magnificent posters.
