Harold Holden (1913-c.1962), also known as Hove, mystified the troops during the war, in France, Belgium and Italy, and later in Germany, with over 600 performances.
Biography
The London magician also performed before H.R.H. The Duke of Windsor (then Prince of Wales) on two occasions, one of which was a command performance.[1]
He was discovered by Leon Bosco working behind the magic counter at Gamage's department store to become his new partner when he left Servais Le Roy.[2]
His contribution to magic have appeared in The Magical World.
