Harry Houdini is the most famous escape artist/magician who has ever lived.  His real name were Erich Weisz but he change it later to Erich Weiss.  Later he change it again to Houdini because Robert Houdin was one of his biggest inspiration.  He invent some of the greatest illusions in the history of magic like "Chinese torture cell", "Metamorphosis" and much much more.
