Herb Morrissey (1938-2003) was a magic manufacturer and founder of Morrissey Magic Ltd., established in 1959 in Canada to sell his Morrissey Cups.

Started in magic as a young boy when given a magic kit. By the age of ten he was chosen to be part of an all kids variety show as the magician. They where once flown into northern Quebec and Labrador to perform for the troops at Canadian forces bases.

At the age of 23, Morrissey turned professional working in the Montreal club scene and throughout the province of Quebec. He started his first business in 1959 to sell his only product, the Morrissey Cups. He later introduced other products into his line such as the Chop Cups, a dove pan line, zombie and lota bowl. Richard Olsen started coming to the shop and would become his partner for over 30 years.[1]
