It was edited and published by Jean Hugard until he died in 1959. During the last seven years of his life he was totally blind. His stage assistant, Mrs. Myra Benson, who had been with him more than 50 years, took care of the business details and the mailing. Blanca Lopez, his close friend, made the layouts, ordered the illustrations and saw the issues through the press. When she was away Milbourne Christopher helped with these details.
The magazine was carried on after his death for many years by Blanca Lopez and Milbourne Christopher.
