He Learned magic at the age of 10 from a street magician. Imam went to Canada as engineering student in 1965 then moved to the United States in 1970.[1]
He produced the Mostly Magic, a weekly magic show, on Carmine Street from 1980 until 1993.[2]
Imam died while visiting his family in Bangladesh.[3]
