James Burks

James Burks is an amateur magician and artist.

Burk worked in the animation industry for companies like Disney, Warner Brothers, and Nickelodeon. He has worked on projects including the Emperor's New Groove, Atlantis, Treasure Planet, Home on the Range, Space Jam, the Iron Giant and the television shows, Wow Wow Wubbzy, Ni-hao Kai-lan, the Dinosaur Train and Fan Boy and Chum Chum.[1]

He is also working on writing and illustrating his own books. He authored "Martin's Misdirection", a comic strip about life through the eyes of a magician named Martin and his talkative rabbit, Thurston. Parts were serialized in Genii magazine in 2005. [2]
