Jason Alexander is an actor and really good magician, and only switched to acting as a career when he realized that he was unlikely to succeed as a magician.
He performed an act at the Magic Castle on April 24-30 2006 fro which he was awarded the Parlor Magician of the year award.
John Lovick interviewed Alexander about his Magic Castle performances on Reel Magic Quarterly #2 DVD.
