Jean Poisson (1915-1985) worked professionally as "John Fish".

Biography

The son of a lawyer, Poisson was involved with magic since childhood and gained a reputation for his expertise in the Art.

He held I.B.M. No. 9607 beginning in 1966 and was a member of Ring 86 (Brussels, Belgium). He was an ardent worker for the I.B.M. and was instrumental in the formation of a number of Rings in Europe.He was a Past European Vice President of the I.B.M. and a holder of the Robert Houdin Medal for the best French Ambassador of magic in foreign countries.[1]

Taking up mentalism later in life, he started doing private bookings under the name "Jean Sonis".
