Jim Buffaloe is a semi-pro basis magician & coin expert from the St. Louis area. He was a member of both the IBM & Sam.

Buffaloe received his first magic set when he was 9 years old & grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, & graduated from Memphis Technical High School. He worked his way through college performing magic and music.

In 1949, he met J. B. Bobo. They became friends and Buffaloe submitted items for Modern Coin Magic.

He was shown on the cover of the June 1985 Linking Ring magazine

Buffaloe has a bachelor of music degree from Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma, & a master of sacred music degree from The School of Sacred Music. Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He has worked as the Choral Director, music composer & piano tuner-technician. Jim work as the Choral director for the St. Louis Community chorus and also had 6 of his hymn anthems published.

Jim passed away on 12/30/2011 after a brief illness.
