John Fedko operated Fedko Magic Company in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.

Biography

Fedko learned sleight-of-hand from him at the age of six from his grandfather, John Osychka, who was a magician in Russia.

In 1951 he went on to Muhlenberg College, Allentown, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in physics, . He later enrolled at the University of Southern California, and in 1971 graduated with a Master of Science in Systems Management. From 1951 to 1971 Fedko was a career army officer, serving his country for several years in Italy, and later in Korea. After the army he served as the Director of the Bureau of Systems Management, Department of Environmental Resources, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, a branch of the government for the state that he founded in 1972.

Fedko operated the Fedko Magic Company, with a retail shop in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. He also operated the Fedko Magic School. In 1974 he started a club for children eight through sixteen called the Keystone Konjurors. helped found S.A.M. Assembly 110, Central Pennsylvania, and served as its president.

He won numerous S.A.M. and I.B.M. trophies, and in 1973 received the MAES award for the best presentation at the Baltimore, Maryland convention.

I.B.M. ring 313 in Irvine, California was named in his honor.

He was interred with honors at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C.[1][2][3][4]
