Loring & Mussey was a publishing company started by Percy Loring and Barrows Mussey (aka Henry Hay)

The firm published Mulholland's Story of Magic in 1935.

It was changed to Barrows Mussey. Inc. after Loring went to work for another publisher.

By late 1936, near the height of the Depression, the business was failing and Mussey took a job with Robert M. McBride. He took another job in the spring of 1937 while his wife "wound up the Mussey business."[1]
