Magic Island in Newport Beach, California, was a nightclub dinner theater featuring magic and magicians that opened in 1981 as a private club.[1]
J. C. Wagner,who was working the Magic Lounge in San Diego, was asked to come to Magic Island when it opened.
Other magicians that performed there regularly was Jerry Camaro and Larry Jennings.
It was followed another Magic Island in Houston Texas in 1984.
