Multiplying Thimbles is a variation of the Multiplying Billiard Balls in which sewing thimbles appear and vanish on the tips of the magicians hand.

It was being advertised at least by 1901 to magicians by G. Ornum & Co. in England.

One of the first published methods was in Later Magic (1903) by Professor Hoffmann (page 509).
