Nemo Turner, born Leonard Miedzianowski, was a well known Montreal magician. He performed, along with his rabbit Melvin, on over 200 radio and television appearances.

After attending Concordia University (Loyola campus) and receiving a Bachelor’s degree in psychology he carried on with his career as a magician

Turner went on to blend his entertainment skills with education and also was involved in real estate ventures.[1]

He tried unsuccessfully for a number of years to get his rabbit Melvin accepted into the S.A.M..[2] He also tried the I.B.M, which didn't accept him, but did vote to make him the Official Mascot of the I.B.M.[3]
