Nu-Idea Deck was a Forcing Deck developing by Ralph W. Hull as one of the first decks to use of the Rough and Smooth Principle some time around 1937.

The Nu-idea forcing pack is described in Encyclopedia of Card Tricks as "The Mirage Principle". Greater Magic devoted a short section to Hull's rough and smooth pack, along with four of his effects.

Later, Hull developed a number of most "transformation" packs, of which the best known in England is the "Nudist Cards." [1]
