Oscar Paulsen (1899-1981) was a semi-professional magician who did mostly workd for children.
Biography
Eventually Oscar's family came to England to live, where he worked as a telegraphist and later became the Manager of the Cable & Cipher Dept. for I.T.T. Company. A bachelor, he lived in lodgings all his adult life.
He was a member of the North Wales Magic Circle and the Mahatma Circle of Magicians.[1], president of the I.B.M. British Ring, and Inner member of the Magic Circle. He was a contributor to the Linking Ring and the Mahatma Circular.
He produced the Magic Circle Show in 1924. [2]
A cartoon-portrait of him, and an example of original magic, can be found in The Jinx for March, 1937.[3]
