Paul M. Siegel (1896-1952), a branch manager of the Illinois Automobile Club of South Chicago, was an active member of the local and natioanal S.A.M. and I.B.M.
Biography
Siegel became interested in magic by nine years old and became known as "Paul the Jovial Magician", with Dorny (Werner Dornfield) as his mentor.
In 1950 he was president of Chicago Assembly SAM No. 3.
Siegel died on the street after leaving a meeting of IBM Ring 43 in the Palmer House. He had been ill for some time. Services were conducted by Dorny followed by cremation.[1]
