Paul Scheldon (1880-1942) was a leading vaudeville illusionist and card magician in Germany.
Biography
Max Holden, in his column in Sphinx, stated that "As Leipsig [sic] is to America so is Paul Scheldon to Germany."[1]
Scheldon started professionally in December, 1900 and was editor of the "Magischer Revue" department in the German Theatrical paper Das Progam. He also contributed to several German magical journals and was the German representative to the Linking Ring.[2]
Some of his creations were "new die box", "handkerchief glass" and "Scheldon Forcing pack"[3]
Last name was often printed in various journals as Stallbohm
