Peter Warlock (1904-1995), born Alec William Bell, was a semi professional magician and publisher of The Pentagram from 1946 to 1959 and The New Pentagram from 1969 to 1989. In 1952, he was awarded the IBM's British Ring Shield. His magician daughter, Elizabeth Warlock won the award in 1953.

In 1960, he became the honorary president of the Paisley Magic Circle. Peter Warlock was also asked to accept the Honorary Life Presidency of the Blackpool Magic Club after the death of Edward Victor.
