Queen City Mystics of Cincinnati, Ohio, was chartered, under the leadership of John Braun and Stewart Judah, by the Society of American Magicians in 1922 as Assembly No. 11.

Harry Houdini presented the Queen City Mystics with its charter during a performance at the Keith Theater.

Many of the original members were first in the Cincinnati Magicians' Society (CMS) lead by George Stock. CMS members were given the title "Mystics" and they continued to exist into the 1940's. Stock opposed the idea of CMS becoming part of the Society of American Magicians and saw no reason for them to become a mere offspring of a "parent assembly" it predated. He didn't however object to members of CMS joining SAM.

They generally meet once a month at the Haines House of Cards.[1]
