R.M. Jamison (1884-1959), an amateur magician, invented Spotted Sticks in 1938.

Biography

Jamison was an operator of Trinidad Monument Works. He first became interested in magic at the age of 15.[1]

He was a longtime friend of Orville Meyer and a prolific contributor to conjuring periodicals including The Sphinx.

His "JAMISON'S MAGNETIC CARD RISE" appeared in Genii 1954 February, listing his address as Woodland hills, California.
