Recha (1892-1966) was a professional circus illusionist for many decades.

Biography

The son of a Berlin tailor, Schaffer started performing magic as an assistant to Taft. In 1923 he took over the name "Taft" and then in 1930 became better known as "Recha, the Devil in Tails".[1]
