Rev. Charles K. Hayden, S.J. (1894-1954), a Jesuit Priest who taught physics at Omaha's Creighton University, was a craftsman of a variety of magic equipment.[1]

Biography

Father Hayden was a prominent member for the Omaha Magical Society.

He is credited as the inventor of the Fu-Manchu Hand Chopper.[2]

To honor his memory a "Father Hayden Memorial Competition Plaque Prize" was created in 1955 with the members presenting their best feats during the year, the final contestants competing, and the winner to have permanent possession of the Plaque.[3][4]
