Rex Slocombe (?-1964), "The Talkative Trixter", was a Canadian comic and magician.[1][2][3]

Biography

Last name sometimes spelled Slocum, he owned "Happy Hazzard", a ventriloquist's dummy created by brothers George and Glenn McElroy from Ohio. He performed in the "All Clear" musical review that debuted in the fall of 1943.[4]

A publicity photo can be seen at the Conjuring Arts' online exhibit, "The Many Faces of Magic."[5]
