Roberto Giobbi (1959- ) has a mathematical and scientific background, studied literature and linguistics and eventually majored as a translator and interpreter in German, English, Italian and French. Since 1988 he has been working as a free-lance magician, author and lecturer. His 5 bestselling volumes of Card College are the most widely translated magic books in history and are considered worldwide as the ultimate reference work for card magic. He is member of the Escuela Magica de Madrid, magic’s only Think Tank with 40 members worldwide. Several international awards in magic round off his profile. Roberto Giobbi is married and has 2 children – he lives and works in Muttenz near Basel.
