Dr. Roy F. Schealer was a part-time professional magician who started doing club shows in 1925 as "Misto, Man of Mystery".

He attended Philadelphia Dental College and served as mayor of Boyertown, Pennsylvania.

Schealer was a member of the S.A.M. Assembly No. 4 in Philadelphia (which he served as president) and the I.M.C.[1]

In the official SAM membership list for 1951, his address was still listed as Boyertown.
