Biography

Remembering his first magician floating a lady made Donald fall in love with magic from the very beginning. While growing up in Connersville, Indiana, Donald’s family would go on yearly vacations in the southern United States. His first magic exposure occurred at an amusement park, Tweetsie Railroad, in Blowing Rock, North Carolina. He became more enamored with magic after seeing Lance Burton and Mac King performing multiple times at the Tombstone Junction theme park.

Donald’s family moved to London, Kentucky, in 1981 and he met Clarence S. Miller a few years later. During their friendship, Clarence has made several effects and one-of-a-kinds for him.

After many years of collecting Clarence’s magic, Donald had envisioned a complete reference book detailing all of the effects made. There had never been any type of manuscript published about this craftsman. A recognition of his contributions to magic was long overdue and well deserved.

Magic by Miller details the life of Clarence S. Miller and his close to 100 effects that were handmade. His most popular effect was The Impossible Penetration which gained worldwide recognition.
