Stéphane Bourgoin is a Montreal-based magician and magic consultant who has designed illusions for a long list of theatrical clients, including Cirque du Soleil, the Montreal Metropolitan Orchestra, and Le Théâtre du Nouveau Monde. He also created an interactive exhibition on magic which ran at the Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Museum for more than two years and drew over 100 000 visitors. (this was the subject of an article by David Acer in the July, 2003 issue of Genii)

More recently, Bourgoin has begun to release material to the magic community at large, including the Tennis Chop Cup, the Pool Chop Cup, Mister Spork, The Comedy Helper, and Sharp-Ring (with Patrik Kuffs).
