Palmer Tilden (1942-2011), a programmer and a magician, was owner of Sterling Magic Creations, Wizard Magic, and finally Palmer Magic.[1]

Tilden, a student of Slydini, enjoyed making tricks more than preforming them.

He moved to New York City to work for the MTA and Sony doing 4D database programming.

Tilden sold his interest in Sterling Magic Creations in March of 1981 and started Wizard Magic in 1982.[2]

Tilden married Susan Mills at the Magic Castle on May 23rd, 1985 in the Irma Room, with Invisible Irma playing the Wedding March.[3]

He was first diagnosed with prostate cancer and then in October of 2009 was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Decease. He retired from programming and sold the Palmer Magic company to Shawn Farquhar.[4][5][6][7]
